Weangthai is a big resort with a young, vibrant feel. It's also a fully fledged PADI dive centre with a full range of courses and qualifications available. Weangthai resort is located on Koh Phangan's Bang Charu coastline, with it's peaceful, scenic beach, turquoise waters and beautiful views across the sea Koh Samui. It's often the perfect place to catch a famously stunning Ko Phangan sunset.
It's a great location, right next to the beach but at the same time less than 5 minutes walking distance from the main town of Thong Sala with all its restaurants, shops and markets to explore. The Full Moon Party is only araound 15 minutes drive away by taxi. If you don't decide to try your hand at scuba diving then don't worry, there are plenty of other activities to keep you occupied, with kayaking, snorkeling, beach volleyball and also in-room entertainment options including DVD players and Playstation 2 consoles available to rent. In the evening there are regular Barbeques, Pool parties with guest DJs and live jamming sessions with local musicians. Alternatively you can grab a bite to eat from the restaurant's good quality Thai & International menu,or simply relax and enjoy a refreshing evening drink at the bar with friends.
