About Koh Phangan

Koh Phangan is a tropical paradise island located in the Gulf of Thailand about 100 km from the southern city of Suratthani and 15 km from the larger neighboring island of Koh Samui. Koh Phangan has an area of 168 square km, over 70% of which is mountains and tropical rainforest.
From family resorts to mountain retreats, or simply a bamboo hut on one of the island's amazing beaches, there is a place for everyone to find their own personal paradise here.
The Full Moon Party which is held monthly on Had Rin Nok beach has brought the island global recognition and is a fantastic place to party.
